Care instruction for our linen shirts
**Washing:**
Wash linen with quality detergent: eco-friendly with a short list of ingredients. This simple tip is the key to keeping linen bright.
Do not mix colors.
Use a fabric softener if your water is hard.
Wash your linen at a low temperature or by hand.
Gentle spin speed: 600 rpm.
Avoid soaking linen as it may cause yellowing or fading. When hand washing, soak briefly.
**Stain Removal:**
To clean yellowed collars or underarms on white linen, sprinkle the stain with baking soda. Spray with a little water to help the baking soda penetrate the fibers. Squeeze a lemon and dip a soft brush into the lemon juice. Gently scrub the stain with the lemon juice. Then wash in the machine.
Machine wash at a maximum of 50°C for stubborn stains.
**Drying:**
Do not tumble dry linen, as it will damage the fibers.
Once your laundry is out of the washing machine, stretch it out and delicately hang it on a clothesline.
Do not dry colored linen in direct sunlight as it may cause colors to fade.
Conversely, sunlight is the best ally for white linen! Let white linen dry in the sun for a few days to restore its brightness.
**Ironing:**
Iron linen when it is still slightly damp, as this makes it easier to iron out wrinkles and prevents burning the fibers, which could scorch the linen.
Iron on the reverse side.
